My Magazine Section

I decided to go with the overall theme of London's Fashion Week. Whilst taking place and having a few tickets to go and witness some of the shows, I thought I would take advantage and be on the lookout for some pretty outstanding outfits to photograph and enter into the 'Magazine competition'. For the first day, I had to stick to taking pictures on my iPhone however when I returned, I had bought a camera with me for some clearer shots. 
 I will be submitting and evaluating all my photos in this particular page. 

By making London Fashion week my theme, I had also remembered that I mentioned I would be splitting my theme into two different categories. I went over my pictures and tried to find two things that stood out the most to put in different categories. But instead, I decided I would make my magazine entry a little more exciting. 

I will blog about Men's fashion and Women's fashion. Those will be my final two categories. By doing so, this will give me the chance for a response from my readers and for them to vote as to whom they thought dressed better for London Fashion Week.. Men or Women?

MENS FASHION

Francis Burke 24

Wearing his own designs.

The reason I picked Francis is because he pulls of a high fashion yet sophisticated vintage look. The coral colours and the blue material of his ensemble work like a piece of art. He says "My Beard is like my accessory.. It completes my look" I gave Francis a 9/10 for this look.

Yoohan Lee

27 years old.

Wearing: A thrift Jacket and white suitcase

Yoohan stood out with his white outfit. He immediately stood out as he was rocking this futuristic look. He says his inspiration is Will.I.Am and he loves wearing white as he passionately believes you cannot go wrong with white. I gave Yoohan an 8/10

Brady Colshire. 23 Years old. Brady has also decided to follow the route of sophistication by layering his outfit in a beautiful suit jacket. He says "Big Jackets can make anything look sophisticated and they are really in not only with fashion but handy with British weather too" I gave Brady a 6/10 for this look.

Kevin Yan. 22 years old. This is definitely one of my most favorite looks of the day. He has mixed Urban with High end fashion and made it work. Kevin wears all black with a few spiked Loubitons to match his spiked cap. He says "I inspire myself" I have given Kevins look a 10/10.

Ti Yoon. 26 years old. Ti brings his Japenese fashion along with him to LFW as he shows off some of the items he has designed himself. He says "Less is more" Ti creates his clothes on the base of mixing culture and modern fashion. He also says "I go nowhere without my bag, my bag is my biggest accessory" I have given Ti a 6/10 for this outfit. 

Pier Thompson. 20 years old. Model. Pier has gone for the sophisticated jacket. He explains "Shoes are very important. You can look at a person's shoes and tell what kind of person they are" He is a very big jacket man. He says his inspiration is Michael Jackson and his favorite designer is Tommy Hilfiger. I gave Pier a 6/10.

Jordan Roberto. 19 years old.

Jordan is wearing clothes from the High street. He says "The clothes dont make the people, the people make the clothes" He enjoys styling himself and does a lot of personal shopping for other people. He says he is inspired by categories that people are put in so he likes to dress more 'urban'. I gave Jordan a 7/10.

WOMENS FASHION.

Lisa Simmons. 22 years old. There's no surprise saying why Lisa stood out for me. In her yummy lime green glasses and crop top. She throws on an over-sized distressed denim shirt. Her tall gold heels worked in perfect harmony with the outfit and complimented her look greatly. Lisa is a model and 'has an obsession with fashion' she pulls this outfit off so well. I gave Lisa a 9/10 for this look. 

Olivia Rose. 22 years old. Student. A high waist leather skirt pushed away by an oversized mirror style jumper. Olivia works her black and silver outfit and outshines. She studies fashion and is wearing a piece she made on her final exam and says "I started making clothes and I just couldn't stop" Her metallic look also makes her outfit look futuristic. I gave Olivia a 5/10 for this look.

Rosella White. 23 years old. Blogger. Rosella's one of the most interesting looks I had seen on this day by far. She has managed to pull of a 'boyish style' but still look feminine. She wears beige baggy jeans with a blazer she had purchased from a Charity shop and wears a printed designer shirt. She adds heels to make the look more feminine. He black see-through shirt softens the colours combined and makes them work well together, complimenting her look. I gave Rosella a 10/10 for this look.

Lucy and Megan. 23 years. Students. The girls say black is their favorite thing to wear you can never go wrong with Black and it also compliments the figure and looks slimming. Megan wears a beautiful fur jacket over her high waist leather skirt and platformed sandals with tights to add length. Playing with texture but keeping one colour. Whilst Lucy wears a frilly skirt along with a sequined t-shirt topped with a fur and leather jacket. I gave the girls a 7/10 for this look.

Lauren Polaski. 27. Fashion designer. Lauren has also decided to go with an all black outfit but to add a little colour she has thrown on a designer Tee. Her look is simple yet effective. I have given Lauren an 8/10

Natalie Markey. 27 years old. Natalie says her boyfriend Jordan is what inspires her looks. They both dress alike and love their outfits to work well together. Natalie has gone for quite a casual look here but makes her outfit more quirky by adding some cool ear pieces and jewelry to make her stand out more. I have given Natalie a 5/10.
